Damon Zavala recently had the opportunity to perform at WOU for the Oregon Symphony's Wiscarson Competition. This Competition encourages serious young musicians to hone their performance skills by participating in a adjudicated competition and is part of the educational program of the Oregon Symphony Association in Salem. Along with other Sprague Orchestra Participants Ed G and Claire D, Damon received honorable mention honors at this event.
